When using maps from Prompt's Studio, you may encounter MapData, a crucial component that ensures your maps work seamlessly with the interiors downloaded from Sandy Shores area. This guide will explain what MapData is, how to install it, and how it integrates with your FiveM server.

Sandy MapData is a configuration resource that ensures compatibility between your GTAV map and the interiors you download for Sandy Shores area. It acts as a bridge, verifying that the correct interiors are installed and functioning properly with your maps. If the MapData doesnโt match the installed interiors, your server console will notify you with an error and provide a link to download the correct MapData.

Console message usually appears after all maps have been loaded.

1. Downloading Interiors from Sandy Area
Start by downloading the required interiors from Keymaster.
Install these interiors in your FiveM server as instructed.

When you start your server, the map scripts will automatically check which Sandy interiors are installed.
If the MapData is missing or incorrect, the console will display an error message with a link to download the correct MapData.
3. Installing MapData
Click the link provided in the console to download the correct MapData.
Place the MapData file in the appropriate resource folder for your map. (note: you must take out the actual resource from the .zip file, do not just unzip it into the resources folder)
